Changelog
- 2026-09-23 — Fixed a bug where the Disclaimer and DMCA notices could stack into three separate popups on a first visit; these are now a single "Welcome" gate shown once. Replaced every remaining math-puzzle "verify" step (share links, social reveals, private-item warnings, the "Other Useful Indexes" list) with a plain one-click confirmation. Reworked the color scheme and nav styling to be a bit less generic, and rewrote several repetitive or overly formal text blocks across the site.
- 2026-09-22 — Added a full multi-language interface: English, Spanish, French, German, Portuguese, Japanese, Chinese, and Hindi, with a language switcher available on every page and in Settings. Added an "About Neko's Index" section to the Guides page. Added an 18+ resources page (age-gated, links blurred until revealed) covering open-source self-hosting tools, streaming sites, cam platforms, VR content, and hentai/anime, now linked in the main navigation.
- 2026-09-19 — Added console modding, homebrew, emulation, retro handheld, ROM hacking, and community categories with 100+ new resources. Shared site navigation via site-nav.js. PWA icons and social-card meta added; sitemap updated. Pixel animation now respects Reduce Motion.
- 2026-08-30 — Added My Lists: create custom categories, apps, resources, sources, and lists with save, export, and import. Added the My Lists Maker page. Added a Theme setting, App Layout (List/Grid/Compact), Reduce Motion, Marquee Animation, High Contrast, and other settings. Improved mobile layout and text wrapping. Added share URLs for apps and a local contact/feedback notice.
- 2026-08-27 — Added a Guide side panel to the list page; expanded iOS, Android, PC, and Gaming resources; and combined the Safety, Verification, and Online Safety guide sections.
- 2026-08-27 — Expanded open-source categories: Android, PC, iOS, AI, gaming, utilities, video players, VPN/DNS, torrenting, and app stores. Added filter buttons, tag-aware search, category scrolling, no-results message, and GitHub star badges.
- 2026-08-27 — Removed automatic redirect on the privacy gate; added Disclaimer, DMCA, and Notes pages.
